About Elysium AI Labs

Authenticity should be verifiable, not assumed.

Elysium AI Labs builds Argus, a media forensics platform that determines whether images and video are real or synthetic. We exist because the cost of generating convincing fakes has collapsed — and the institutions that depend on visual evidence need infrastructure that keeps pace.

Why we built Argus

Generative models crossed a threshold: synthetic images and video are now routinely indistinguishable from photographs to the human eye. That changes the ground rules for everyone whose work depends on visual evidence — insurers reviewing damage photos, newsrooms verifying eyewitness footage, legal teams handling exhibits, and ordinary people deciding what to believe.

Argus is our answer: a layered detection pipeline that combines deterministic provenance checks with a neural ensemble, and — critically — explains itself. Every verdict ships with the evidence behind it, because a score you can't interrogate isn't proof of anything.

We are deliberately honest about the limits. Detection is probabilistic, the generator landscape moves weekly, and our results are estimates, not certainties. We'd rather you trust a calibrated number than a confident lie.

How we work

Three principles shape every model release and every product decision.

01

Evidence over verdicts

A bare "synthetic" label is not useful to a claims adjuster or a court. Every Argus result includes the per-model scores, the forensic signals found, and an activation map showing what drove the decision.

02

Calibrated honesty

We report probabilities, publish our benchmark methodology, and document failure modes. Overclaiming accuracy in this field is worse than no detection at all.

03

Neutrality by design

Argus has no stake in whether a file is real or fake. The pipeline weighs hard provenance evidence above model opinion, and a verdict is the same no matter who submits the file.

The team

A small group of machine learning researchers and forensics engineers. Replace these placeholders with real photos and bios — for a verification company, real faces are part of the product.
